Today in
Human Geo we started the new unit. The unit was on Population and Migration.
We talked about the population of the world. Another thing we talked about was
the different kinds of countries. The population of the world is over 7 billion
people. The population increases rapidly. In one year, the increase in
population is 73 million people. 90% of the population growth comes from the
developing countries. The first kind of country is a developed country. A developed
country is a country who can provide aid for their citezens. Not only can they
provide but they also feed them and provide water. An example is that in
America which is a developed country has paved roads and traffic signals. Also,
they provide education to their citezens. The thing that mainly defines a
developed country is that they have access to technology. The other type of
country is a developing country. The definition is a country that does not have
access to technology. Also, does not provide much education. We also talked
about life expectancy today in class. The definition of that is the average
number of years to be lived by a group of people born in the same year.
