10-29-14 Class

Today in Human Geo we continued working on our project. For the Project James and I did the US. When we came into to class we reviewed where we were in the project. After that, we got in our groups and started working. So, I looked up information on Barrack Obama the President for the US. His term lasts for another two years. After that, we started thinking of ideas on how we could get rid of the President. The first idea is impeachment. We then made slides about the impeachment process. Some impeachable offenses are: Treason, Bribery, High Crimes, and not enforcing the laws. When I was doing research on the impeachment process, I found that
Barrack Obama has some impeachable offenses against him. If the House of Representatives decides to impeach the President, the Senate then tries the accused and the Senate is sworn in as jurors. If convicted by the Senate, then they are removed from office immediately and the Senate can take a second vote to determine if the President can hold a public office in the future.

10-27-14 Class

Today in Human Geo we did several of things. The first thing we did was review what we have done with Political Geography. After that he explained an assignment we would be doing in class. The assignment is that we will have a partner and we would choose a country. Then, we would look up information on their leader, the type of government, and ways to over throw the leader. He told someone to go up to the board and have them right down the groups. My partner is James Pennington. After, each person had a partner, he went over the assignment again. After that, he told one person in each group to go to google drive and create a power point presentation online. So, I did that. Next, he said once you created the document, he told us to give it a title and invite are group members. He also said to invite him.

10-24-14 class

Today in Human Geo we had a pop quiz. Also, today in class we had a few shadows. Before we started the pop quiz, the hosts introduced their shadows. Next, Mr. Schick gave out the answer sheet and the quiz paper. I found that the quiz was quite hard. He also had the shadows take the quiz. After everyone had completed the quiz Mr. Schick collected the quizzes and said that we would find out what we got in five minutes. So he picked up the answer sheets and walked out if the room. After a few minutes he returned and he said he would ring the bell once if you got an A. No one in our class got an A. So he called each person one by one. I got a 67% on my quiz. Both shadows got a 48%. After each person saw their grade we were allowed to start our blog for today.

10-23-14 Class

Today in Human Geo the class discussed some of the information about the leaders. Each person shared a piece of information that they found about a leader. I found 2 to 3 pieces of information for each leader. Also, after a person would share, the class would talk about that leader a little bit more. The piece of information that I shared was that President Enrique Pena Nieto received 38% of the votes in the election. Another piece of information I found is that President Enrique Pena Nieto announced his presidential candidacy in September of 2011, four days after he left the office of governor. He officially registered in November of 2011. Chancellor Angela Merkel earned a doctorate as a physical chemist. She entered politics in the wake of the revolutions of 1989. Today was a very productive class because we got a lot of work done. Also, we learned a lot about the different leaders.
